Swanson’s Great Stuffing Debate with $50 Visa Gift Card Giveaway

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. THANKS TO ALL WHO ENTERED.

For the past couple of years I have hosted Thanksgiving at my home.  This year since we are in the middle of a move we are heading over to my Mother In Law’s.  And for the first time in I don’t know how long, I do not have to make a single thing.  I have to admit I am looking forward to eating a lot of food and not cooking any of it.

I know I grew up eating stuffing that was my grandmother’s recipe.  I do not care for fruit or nuts in my stuffing but I am a huge fan of oysters.  My mother in law makes some pretty good corn bread stuffing from scratch but she puts in hard boiled eggs, which I always thought was odd.  I have learned that stuffing is one of those things that everyone makes differently.

This year when our move is complete I will be making my grandmother’s oyster stuffing using Swanson’s chicken broth.  Yummy.  I can hardly wait.

Swanson’s is hosting The Great Stuffing Debate this year.  This November, a great debate will be brewing – one that will have nothing to do with politics.  Instead of things heating up across the congressional aisle, a conversation is sure to be stirring across the dinner table.  The subject: Stuffing of course!

And Swanson’s is right there to help you out with your own stuffing debate.  Make sure you check out The Great Stuffing Debate website where you can be a part of:

•    The Debate Center – Weigh in on questions that gauge stuffing preferences and other related topics.

•   In the Kitchen – Use the stuffing spinner to find the perfect stuffing – from traditional to adventurous and everything in between – as well as other holiday recipes, cooking tips and techniques, substitution solutions, and leftovers ideas.

•    Stuffing Skirmish – This humorous video shows what happens when good people do bad stuffing. Watch the family dynamics unfold as two very different sides of the family – with equally different views on stuffing – come together for the holiday feast.

•    Fun Stuff – Get ready for the Turkey Dance!  The Swanson CGI turkey does the tango, dances like Elvis and takes a trip to the 70s.  Choose a favorite and share with friends and family via email, Facebook or Twitter.

Win It:  One lucky Yellow Tennessee reader will win a $50 Visa Gift Card to help make their stuffing and fuel their own stuffing debate.

Mandatory Entry:  Leave me a comment telling me how you like your stuffing.

Extra Entries:  You can do one or all of these for extra entries.  Be sure to leave a separate comment for each entry. Make sure for Facebook and Twitter entries you leave your full name in the entry form so I can verify entries.
