Costume Supercenter Review

A natural part of childhood is fantasy. Children pretend to be everything from superhero’s, to princesses, to their favorite cartoon character. Costumes can enhance the fantasy and they are not just for Halloween anymore.

Costume Supercenter has costumes in every style you can imagine. From costumes for adults, to costumes for girls, and costumes for boys.

Genghis has always loved cowboys. He even gets into character by saying howdy instead of hello and telling us his name is cowboy Genghis. So when the opportunity came for a review with Costume Supercenter, I just knew I had to shop the cowboy costumes.

I finally decided on the Rawhide Renegade Costume. I was so excited for it to arrive. I just knew it would be perfect for him.

And I was not disappointed. The Rawhide Renegade Costume comes with a duster jacket, vest, belt, bandanna and cowboy hat. The jeans, shirt and cowboy boots are not included. At first glance everything seemed to be well made. The vest slips over the head and then ties in the back for a more custom fit. The belt is actually a flexible plastic material that also ties in the back for an easily adjustable waist. The duster and hat just slip on as you would expect. The bandanna can be tied to wear around the neck or just put in the pocket. Genghis has already informed us that he will be a cowboy for Halloween this year.

Being only 5 years old, Genghis cannot tie the vest and belt on by himself. However, he has no problems getting the hat, duster and even bandanna on. The belt is designed with a steer head belt buckle and gun bullets all around.

All the material is very lightweight. This allows him to run and play like he normally would without getting too hot very quickly. And of course I have had to wash it a couple of times already. It has held up great with washes and looks just as good as the day we got it.

The day after we received the costume I even got to take my little cowboy grocery shopping with me.

I received a costume of my choice for this review. No other compensation was given. All opinions are my own.
