Ball Park Burgers Across America Contest with Recipe

Ball Park – the renowned hot dog brand – recently introduced Flame Grilled Patties, a fully cooked patty made with 100% beef that gives you the “just off the grill taste” straight from the microwave in about a minute. Since no grill is required, it’s easy to make a quick, tasty burger just in time for kickoff or even during a quick commercial break.

To help kick off the new Flame Grilled Patties, Ball Park has started a Burgers Across America contest. They are looking for touchdown worthy recipes using regionally inspired ingredients. Facebook fans are encouraged to share how they top their burger for a chance to win a Super Fan Pack valued at $5,000 – including a new 52′ HDTV, a StubHub.com gift certificate for game-day tickets, a Fanatics.com gift card for new apparel and a grocery gift card!

Three pro football legends Deion Sanders, Tony Siragusa and Jason Taylor have each created their own burger recipe and have teamed up with Ball Park to search for the best burger recipes across the country.

*Contest ends on November 12, 2012.

In honor of the Burgers Across America Contest I had to try and come up with my own recipe.

Black and Blue BBQ Burger

Ingredients:

Ball Park Beef and Onion Patties
Ball Park Hamburger Buns
Cole Slaw
Blue Cheese
BBQ Sauce
Cajun Seasoning

Sprinkle some of the Cajun seasoning on the beef patty.
Place on a microwave safe plate, cover with a paper towel and heat for 65 to 80 seconds, until hot.

Once heated place on a bun and top with BBQ sauce, cole slaw and blue cheese.

Enjoy!

What would be on your burger?
