Equal Showcase Shoppertunity from #CBias with Brownies Recipe. #EqualSucralose

I had the opportunity to go shopping and create a recipe using the new Equal Canister again. I love the canister and I knew I would continue baking with Equal so I was up to the challenge. www.Equal.com has a wealth of information including recipes for not only desserts but also beverages, side dishes and even entrees. I can’t wait to do some more cooking with Equal and see all the ways it can replace sugar.

Did you know that Equal is even helpful for those with diabetes? It allows them to enjoy a sweet treat every once in awhile without overdoing the sugar content. And it is also great for enjoying some sweets while still watching your weight and sugar intake.

We had a busy day with a doctors appointment and then lots of shopping. So I loaded up the kids into the car and off we went.

One thing I noticed this shopping trip is that Splendia has a comparable product in a bag. I haven’t tried the bag, but I am loving the Equal canister. It is so easy to scoop out of and get the right amount without pouring any all over the counter. And the price compared to Splendia is easier on my wallet. Easy to use and a more affordable option. What more could you ask for?

Now for another recipe.

Chocolate brownies with Equal.

2 cups Equal
1 cup butter
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

First up, melt the butter.

Add all ingredients and mix until well blended.

Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes.

I enjoyed my brownie with some iced coffee. A perfect midday snack!
