Get to Know Me. An Interview with myself.

Last week I participated in a blog carnival of sorts and showed you my fridge and pantry as is.

This week the fun continues. Trisha over at MomDot came up with a few questions to answer so you can get to know me a little better. Want to join in, link up over at MomDot or just answer the questions in the comment section.

1) What advice would you give your 16 year old self?

Stop questioning if there is something else out there. It doesn’t exist. You grew up knowing the truth and you will save yourself a lot of heartache if you just stick with it!

2) How many pets do you own?

We are dog people. Always have been.

Currently we have 2 dogs. Benelli is our doberman pincher and we also have Ithaca who is a rat terrorist terrier. Once we move we will be adding a boyfriend for Benlli.

3) What did you want to be when you grew up and did you follow your dreams?

When I was very young I used to say I wanted to be a nurse. Eventually around Jr High that changed and I said I wanted to be the first woman Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

As I got older I realized that I really wanted to be a mom. I didn’t want to focus so much time and energy on a career to become a judge.

So yes, I did end up following my dreams. I am a mom of two wonderful children and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

4) What was your first car?

A 1994 Hyundai Excel. I worked full time at McDonald’s after I graduated high school while I was in college. I save and saved for the down payment and spoiled myself with a brand new car. I drove that thing forever. Road trips, driving just to drive, there are countless memories in that car.

5) If you had a plane ticket in your hand right now to go anywhere in the world, where would it be??

Italy! Hands down.

My husband did a TDY there when he was in the Air Force and it is one place I have always wanted to go. I would eat my way through that country!

How about you?
