Listerine #SweetSmart Oral Care Challenge ~ A Win!

You may remember three weeks ago when I talked about partnering with Listerine Kids and developing better oral care habits. Three weeks ago, we committed to brushing, flossing and rinsing every day, twice a day. I was not sure how the kids would do with it but also how I would do with not only keeping up with it myself but also keeping up with them.

Sure the brand new toothbrushes (can you say Batman) and brightly colored Listerine Smart Rinse (Phineas & Ferb! Barbie!) helped the first couple of days but how would we do after the novelty wore off?

Miss Stalin had no idea what I was talking about but she was more than happy to watch big brother use the mouthwash. And surprisingly she does great when I floss her teeth. Genghis was thrilled with the mouthwash and after the first time of showing him how to use it he was most happy that he could do it all himself thanks to the self measuring top.

Just squeeze the bottle until the mouthwash comes up to the line (any over amount will go back down into the bottle when released) then rinse your mouth with it. So easy!

Then the dreaded Halloween came and I was was thrilled to see Mario getting ready for bed after a night of trick or treating and candy. Tooth brush in hand he was happy to be brushing and was excited to show me that he could still use the mouthwash all by himself. Just like a big boy.

At the end of this challenge I was thrilled that we have all developed better oral care habits and I know that they are going to stick with us. I can tell you that Listerine Smart Rinse will be a part of our daily habits as I know that the things we do now will stick with them and carry on into adulthood.

And what’s one more piece of candy when I know we have Listerine Smart Rinse on our side ensuring that we all go to bed with healthy teeth!

I received products from Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Products Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc. and The Motherhood as part of my participation in the Listerine Smart Rinse Sweet Smart Challenge. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this post are my own.
