I am always looking for new ways to shake up dinner and find creative ways to get the kids to eat more veggies. Well mainly Genghis. Miss Stalin would live on fruit and veggies only.
Melted Steaks n Spears was a perfect meal.
What you need:
Steaks of your choice. I used sirloin.
Pasta or rice.
Cut the asparagus into small pieces. Boil until done then dunk in cold water.
Dice one tomato.
Season the steak with salt and pepper and then pan fry in a little bit of butter or oil.
When the steaks are done to your liking, top with tomato, asparagus pieces and mozzarella cheese. Cover the pan with a lid until the cheese is melted.
Serve over noodles or rice.
An easy meal that left everyone asking for more.
