Omaha Steaks. The perfect gift for anyone on your list.

Everyone has someone on their holiday shopping list that seems impossible to buy for. They really don’t need anything, they don’t have a ton of hobbies, and they seem to have everything. Or they are just downright picky.

My husband and my father fall into this group. They don’t need much and they are picky. So every single year is a total struggle trying to come up with a gift they will love.

This year, I have found a winner. I have always loved the idea of giving gourmet food gifts for those who are hard to shop for because who doesn’t eat? But you don’t always know what you are going to get or if the quality is really good.

Enter Omaha Steaks. This company features high quality beef, chicken, seafood, and other products designed to make sure that no matter who is receiving it, they will love it!

We recently tried out the Holiday Happiness assortment that features:

4 (5 oz.) Filet Mignons
4 ( 4 oz.) Omaha Steaks Burgers
4 (3 oz.) Gourmet Jumbo Franks
4 Stuffed Baked Potatoes
4 Chocolate Molten Lava Cakes
This assortment normally sells for $147.00 but right now you can get it on sale for only $49.99.

We have a tradition around here for Saturday nights. They are our date night. After the kids go to bed we cook dinner together and enjoy a nice quiet meal. We always splurge and have steaks for our date nights. This was the perfect opportunity to try out Omaha Steaks.

The steaks came frozen and sealed. I thawed them and we cooked them on the stove in cast iron. The steaks were tender, juicy, and hands down the best steak I have had in a long time.

The stuffed baked potatoes were also wonderful. Filled with cheese, sour cream, and chives the potatoes took 40 minutes to cook to perfection. They were very flavorful.

Then we got really spoiled. Date nights don’t usually include dessert so this was a real treat. The chocolate molten lava cakes were incredible. The chocolate cake cooked up perfectly with just a slight bit of crispness to it. The inside was filled with a decadent cream and chocolate sauce. It was rich and the perfect end to a great meal.

And the best part? Other than cooking the steaks and heating other things in the oven there was zero prep work involved in this amazing meal. Imagine the delight of the gift recipient when they are able to have such an amazing meal with little work.

Who on your list would love to receive one of these great meat gift baskets?
