How Do You Take Care of your Heart? Cambell’s #AddressYourHeart

I consider myself pretty lucky. I am in fairly decent shape and have no major health issues. But that does not mean that I don’t want to take care of my heart. My mom has a mitral valve prolapse but thankfully it is nothing serious and no one else has it.

However my grandfather had numerous heart attacks while I was growing up and it made such an impact that I decided I never wanted to put my family through that.

Little things can go a long way when caring for your heart. Small changes made to my diet and making sure I get some exercise are a great way to keep my heart healthy.

But sometimes a busy lifestyle does not go hand in hand with caring about your heart. This is where Campbell’s heart healthy products come in.

During a busy day instead of reaching for just any jarred spaghetti sauce I grab Prego Heart Smart sauce. The flavor is wonderful and I like knowing it is better for our hearts.

The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women® movement launched in 2004 to increase awareness of heart disease among women and to create a call-to-action for heart-healthy lifestyle changes. Campbell’s has supported the Go Red For Women® movement through its annual Address Your Heart campaign. This year Campbell’s Address Your Heart campaign is a Kitchen Project for a chance to win a $50,000 kitchen makeover. Who couldn’t use that?

  2. I submitted an entry of a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios :) We eat it several times a week for breakfast to help keep the cholesterol down. Heart Health should be more important to us, both my husband’s parents passed away from heart problems. I really need to get better about it.
