We all have kids and they all make messes. It is part of being a kid. While the above picture was a mess it was not the worst I have dealt with. When Genghis was 3 years old he woke up very, very early one morning and decided to make breakfast. He cracked 2 dozen eggs and mixed them complete with shells in the broiler pan of the oven. He also got out an entire box of butter, spread one stick around with the eggs and best as I can figure he fed another stick to the dogs.
I never found that other stick of butter.
As you can picture it didn’t all stay in the pan. Especially when he got out the spoon to stir it up. He was covered in raw egg. My floor was covered in raw egg and butter. And my oven was covered in raw egg.
I was too busy cleaning to think of taking a picture. And I admit at the time I was not exactly laughing. Although now about 4 years later we still talk about that missing stick of butter!
