As a mom we all know that dealing with diaper rash is just one of those things that we have to do. It is said that 75% of all babies get diaper rash at least once every six months. That is a lot. And we all know if not treated correctly it can end up really being painful.
Pinxav for diaper rash is different. It was created in 1927 by by Milford Harris along with a dedicated group of doctors and pharmacists. They were looking to create something that would really work against diaper rash. According to the American Academy of Pediatricians: The single most effective active ingredient in any diaper rash treatment is zinc oxide. Pinxav starts with 30% zinc oxide. But they don’t stop there.
Pinxav also contains aloe, vitamin E, eucalyptol, oil of clove, menthol, petrolatum, lanolin, and more. Besides working great Pinxav also never tests on animals. We use cloth diapers on Miss Stalin so one of the first things I asked is if Pinxav was safe to use with them.
I am happy to say, yes it is. As a side note the pink will stain diapers and even clothing, but it is still safe to use with cloth and will not harm the absorbancy. Most of Miss Stalin’s diapers are pink anyway, so I can deal with the inside matching the outside. Using Pinxav once a day can also help to prevent diaper rash from returning.
In addition to treating diaper rash, I love the idea of having Pinxav around the house for other uses too.
