I admit, I’m not the most tech savvy person in the world. The one thing that stops me from getting something new is the set up and installation of new things, I do not speak “manual” and often have a hard time following along with one!
HP has changed all that for me with their HP Envy 5300 e-all-in-one printer. This printer has a wireless connection and you can not only connect it with your computer but you can connect it to your tablet and phone too! My initial fear was that I couldn’t set this up with out help but I figured I would give it a try. You can go to a website for easy set up or put in the cd it came with. The printer has a touch screen and the minute I turned it on, it gave me easy step by step instructions on what to do. And it took me 15 minutes max. The manual was one page, everything inside was color coded and that made it so easy for me to figure out what goes where!
Now this printer does more than print, scan, and copy what you need it to do. It have has a Printables section on the screen that you can click and find things like: coupons, calendar, a Disney section, Pixar, menu planner, news, TV listings and so much more!! My kids and I were most excited to check out the Pixar section where we found printable games, activities, coloring pages, and decor featuring just about every one of their favorite characters! I’m not kidding when I say this printer is so user friendly that my 4 & 7 year old can use it to print activity pages whenever they want!
The bonus for me is that the ink is quite affordable. My old printer was a tank and it cost me $75 to refill the ink! My local stores carry the ink for my new printer for a fraction of that, plus HP offers a program that you can sign up for and they will send you new ink every so often so you’ll never be stuck in the middle of a project having just run out of ink!
I can’t to share more about this great printer, I’ll have some goodies to giveaway soon!
Note: I received a product to review as a part of the HP Smart Mom campaign, all opinions are my own.
