Part 10 in the series 30 Things My Kids Should Know About Me.
I’m not sure why my kids should know this about me. But at the same time I guess I am lucky in that I don’t have a lot of truly embarrassing moments.
Once upon a time I was big and round and only 7 months pregnant. I got huge. Needless to say moving in general was not always easy.
But one time your daddy decided to go with me to an OB visit. In keeping with the schedule it should have been just a normal visit. Measure my belly, ask how I was feeling, the norm.
Of course since your Daddy was there, they took what should have been a normal visit and made it into one with an exam. I’m not unusually shy but having an ‘all up in your business’ exam in front of my husband was not my idea of a good time.
He made a joke about it after she left the room and I laughed. I laughed so hard I farted. In front of your Dad. Thankfully that was the first and only time I ever farted in front of your dad.
Funny side note, when I asked him what my most embarrassing moment was he said ‘pregnancy farting’.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
