Visiting Las Vegas means gambling, shows, clubs and extravagance. It also means steak. If there’s anything Sin City does on par with its casinos, it’s steakhouses.
These five-star gourmet steakhouses are for any visitor who wants a true Las Vegas experience.
Best Steakhouses in Las Vegas
Located in Restaurant Row at The Venetian, Delmonico is the creation of Emeril Lagasse. This restaurant blends steakhouse feel with New Orleans Creole flavor, but the reason to go is the bone-in ribeye. This succulent cut is worth the trip alone, especially when paired with Delmonico’s extensive selection of wines and cocktails. Those not into red meat will love the New Orleans Barbecue Shrimp or the Ahi Tuna.
This steakhouse opened at The Mirage in early 2014. It was founded by Tom Colicchio, who also founded Craftsteak Steakhouse at the MGM Grand. Heritage Steak is unique due to its laid back atmosphere and antibiotic-free beef and seafood. The steaks, including the delectable A5, Japanese Wagyu Strip Loin, are all cooked over an open flame. Accent your steak with the potato puree and some spicy onion rings.
Aside from fine cuisine, this restaurant at Wynn Las Vegas has the best dinner views you’ll find. Take in the nightly water shows at Wynn’s Lake of Dreams while sitting in the open-air portion of the restaurant. The food is very good, too. Not only is SW Steakhouse one of three places in the United States that serves true Kobe beef, but it boasts a chili-rubbed double rib eye and a full vegan menu for non-meat eaters.
Smith and Wollensky
One of the top steakhouse brands in the United States, its Vegas location is a spectacle. It’s not affiliated with a Las Vegas hotel, unlike most steakhouses. Instead, it’s a three-story monster on The Strip perfect for big group events. Smith and Wollensky also serves a mean steak. The Filet Mignon is a tasty favorite, and no trip here is complete without tasting the Truffle Mac ‘n Cheese.
Vic and Anthony’s Steakhouse
Located within the Golden Nugget in downtown Las Vegas, Vic and Anthony’s is the perfect place to indulge after saving on some of the most affordable hotels in Las Vegas. It’s also located right by the Fremont Street Experience. As for food, the New York Strip and Filet are extremely tasty while seafood lovers enjoy the fried oysters and lobster tail. Mix in some cheesy Au Gratin potatoes to cap off your meal.
These are just five of the many outstanding steakhouses in Vegas. Bring your appetite along with your wallet the next time you’re in town.
