KinderGlo Review and Giveaway

Are you in the market for a fun, safe, portable and very unique nightlight?  Then look no further than KinderGlo! I was sent a couple of samples for review and I am in love with these lights.  These nightlights really have it all.  With a simple click of a button you can change your nightlight to show various colors or a continuous solid color.  You can also set them, again with a simple click of a button, to automatically shut off after 30 minutes or to stay on until you turn it off.  These lights also stay cool to the touch the entire time they are on, so they can go anywhere.  Genghis loves playing with these lights and carries them around everywhere.  And the best part is the Kinderglo night lights are completely rechargeable.  No more hunting for batteries and having them die on you late at night.  The KinderGlo nightlights come with there very own base.  Just set them on the base when not in use and they charge on their own.

I am not a huge fan of traditional night lights because I did not want Genghis to get attached to sleeping with a light on.  It would have been one more thing to have to break him of eventually.  The KinderGlo nightlights are the perfect solution.  The soft lights help lull your child to sleep but by shutting off after 30 minutes they do not create a dependency on the light.

KinderGlo nightlights also come in 4 fun characters.  There is an Owl, a Quarter moon, a T-Rex and a Brontosaurus.  Each KinderGlo light comes with its own charger.  You simply plug the base into any outlet and then set the light on the base.  A red indicator light on the base means the light is charging  and a green light means the light is fully charged. The battery in the light is rated for 500 plus full charge and discharge cycles.  So under normal use, it should last for years.

For this review Genghis and I received the KinderGlo T-Rex and Quarter Moon designs.  While I set up the charging bases, Genghis started playing.  These lights have gone everywhere with us.  To the store, under the blankets, to the bathroom, everywhere Genghis goes at least one of the lights is nearby.  Not only do they provide a nightlight for sleeping but because they come in such fun shapes and stay cool to the touch they have become a favorite toy around here.

I really don’t think I can say enough good things about these lights.  KinderGlo lights are made from a soft, durable, non toxic, safety approved material.  These lights are also lead free and BPA free.  They contain an LED light that provides the best lighting.  KinderGlo nightlights are designed so that once they are removed from the charger, they turn on.  Of course if the light is not on the charger a simple push of a button on the bottom will turn the light on also.  This makes them ideal for late night trips to the bathroom.  And if there is ever a power failure the KinderGlo nightlight will automatically turn on if it is sitting on the charger.  If you have a child who is scared of storms this feature can really be a life saver.
