I’m in love with a cloth diaper. Apple Cheeks Review and Giveaway

Congratulations to the winner of this giveaway, Janie.

I admit when I decided to use cloth diapers with Miss Stalin, I was in over my head. There are so many different ones to choose from and don’t even get me started on all the slang. AIO, PUL, PF, What The… It is enough to make you run back to disposables.

But I stuck it out, asked a million questions and took the advice of my friends. Apparently the best bet is to try, try and try some more. Eventually you will find what works best for you. I discovered pretty early on that I love pocket diapers. I like the fit, the look, the absorbancy. I even don’t mind stuffing them after I wash them.

So I was excited to try out Apple Cheeks. I knew being a pocket diaper I would like it. What I didn’t realize is that I would love it so much.

First up the color. You can pick from 8 beautiful colors. And I can promise you that the color is just as perfect in person as it is on the computer. Even with multiple washes, this diaper is still perfect.

I ended up picking the Cherry Tomato color. As you can see the color is bright and vivid. Apple Cheeks diapers come in two sizes and all feature snaps for closure. They can be used as a cover if you prefer prefolds or they can be used as a traditional pocket diaper.

The one thing I love most about Apple Cheek diapers is the placement of the pocket opening. Instead of being all the way at the back of the diaper like most pocket diapers, it is placed just a little past the middle. While this does make for a little more effort when stuffing the diaper, it eliminates the bunch up of the liner at the back of the diaper. We have not had a single leak while using the Apple Cheeks diaper.

The fit is perfect. The legs are snug without being too tight and the adjustable closure ensures the fit around the waist is perfect for your little one.

From the Apple Cheeks site:
New advances in textile technology allow for amazingly trim fitting washable diapers that unstuff by themselves in the wash!. Gone are the days of bulky plastic pants and saggy, wet bottoms. Pins and Snappis are a thing of the past. AppleCheeks cloth diaper bring you the ultimate in form and function, combining effective leak control with attractive styling. Imagine a dry bottom that actually looks good! Who knew?
