Digimon Fusion joins the Vortexx with Activity Sheets

I received samples and perks for being a Saban Brand Ambassador. All opinions are 100% my own.

Digimon Fusion is the all-new animated series and the sixth installment of the Digimon franchise, the longest-running Japanese anime property. The series will feature all-new Digimon action and excitement following Mikey, a human boy, who is transported into the digital realm and must team up with his new “Digimon” or “Digital Monster” friends before their world is deleted once and for all. New fusion powers allow Digimon to combine and fuse their abilities to create endless battle possibilities. A property of Saban Brands, Digimon Fusion will air on Nickelodeon in the U.S. in 2013.

Saban Brands has announced that following its fall 2013 debut on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons, starting January 25, Digimon Fusion will be joined the Vortexx on The CW lineup, airing every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. EST/PST.

New episodes of the series return to Nicktoons Monday, February 17, with an all-day marathon followed by two brand-new episodes at 9:00 p.m. EST. The series will rollout weekly premieres in its regular time slot starting Sunday, February 23, at 11:30 a.m. EST.

I admit that we have not seen Digimon Fusiion before. But after checking out the clip, we are excited for the marathon and have plans to watch them all!

Check out this exclusive, never before seen clip from the new winter premiere episode airing on Nicktoons on February 17th.

DigiFusion Figures

We received one of the new DigiFusion Figures to check out. These toys allow kids to replicate the DigiFusions that Mikey creates in the series, or they can even combine them to create their own unique combinations. They all have a ball and socket construction system that allows kids to fuse them together.

Even with only one figure, I have to say that Genghis has been having a blast. And he is already naming all the others that he wants. I can’t wait to see what he creates with other figures. We also got these fun little blue finger lights that both the kids are having a blast with.

Also included with the figure is a touch through technology card that can be placed on the Fusion Loader app for smartphones or touch devices. Children will then touch a sequence of numbers on the card in an order that will activate the loader to call out the Digimon character on the card.

DigiFusion Figures will be available starting mid-February at Toys R Us, Walmart, Target, and Amazon.

You can also download the Digimon Fusion Activity sheets to add even more fun!
