Veggie and Olive Tapenade Recipe - Yellow Tennessee

Veggie and Olive Tapenade Recipe

Thanks to Mezzetta for sponsoring today’s post. All opinions are my own.

I love nothing more than a great tapenade. Crusty bread, salty olives, lots of garlic. There is just nothing better. It is the perfect accompaniment to a wide range of dishes. But I wanted to try something a little different and I knew that I didn’t need to look any further than Mezzetta.

Using Mezzetta Blue Cheese Stuffed Olives and Mezzetta Italian Mix veggies we had a great tasting tapenade. I mixed it up a bit more and served on Pretzel Thins and even had some cream cheese out but no one used it. This tapenade was perfect all on its own.

Throw your garlic, Mezzetta Olives, and Veggies in a food processor. Add olive oil and pulse until blended but slightly chunky.

The blue cheese and veggies add a little something different than a traditional tapenade. And leaving it a little chunky gives it a better consistency. It was the perfect mid afternoon snack today and everyone has already requested that I add it to our Christmas menu.

We have a tradition of doing appetizers all day on Christmas day. We snack all day long and it keeps me out of the kitchen. It is a tradition and memory that we all love.
