I’ve partnered with Christmas Forest for this review and giveaway. All opinions are my own.
I’ve said before that my idea of perfect Christmas decorations is fun pieces, a tree full of non matching ornaments, and simple but unique touches all over. My husband’s idea of perfect Christmas decorations is something that resembles the Christmas section at your local store, threw up in your yard and house. Thankfully it will take him years to actually acquire all the decorations he wants. So in the meantime, I look for little pieces that fit my style.
Christmas Forest fits into my perfect idea of a Christmas decoration.
Rick and Ramona Holt sold their first Christmas wreath at Pike Place Farmer’s Market in Seattle in 1976. Rick was working in construction and Ramona was a piano teacher at the time. Looking for extra Christmas money to buy Christmas gifts, they harvested cedar boughs to sell to a local nursery. When the owner of the nursery said that he didn’t need the branches after all, the Holts decided to try their hand at making and selling wreaths so the boughs would not be wasted. They worked all night making wreaths and the next morning they sold their first Christmas wreath in Seattle, Washington. That was 38 years ago and now the wreaths of Christmas Forest have decorated thousands of doors around the world.
A US made and small family owned business is exactly who I love to support. Plus the wreaths are just beautiful.
We have a large fake tree that I love because it looks real, but I grew up with live trees and I miss the incredible smell that filled the house. Thanks to allergies, we will have a fake tree from here on out. But that doesn’t mean I can’t go for real outside.
The hardest part of the shopping process was picking my favorite.
Then I spotted the Polka Dot Frenzy Wreath. It was perfect. A little bit classic, a little bit fun and unique.
This 20 inch wreath features real cedar boughs, pine cones, red and green ornaments, and the cutest polka dot bow. And it looks perfect hanging on the back door. This wreath arrived to me on November 3rd and I just took this picture today. Other than the bow getting a little blown around by the crazy winds we have, it looks just as perfect as it did the day it arrived.
If you are looking for more than just a wreath be sure to check out the selection of Christmas Forest Ornaments also.
Win It: Christmas Forest is giving away one Polka Dot Frenzy Wreath to one lucky reader. Use the simple Rafflecopter form to enter.
